Some fluids are tending to sediment after a certain period of rest. We are referring to numerous emulsions, dispersions and suspensions used in industrial and trade environments. This is due to their different weight of the individual ingredients. These products have to be prior to further processing usually first mixed with an agitator before they can be pumped and refilled into other containers.

The Lutz mixing pump tubes MP can cater for two needs, since it combines a mixer and a pump in one unit.

Function

Switching between “pumping” and “pumping & mixing” is made via a small lever underneath the hand wheel. During the operating process the controlling can be conveniently made from outside without having to stop the mixing pump or to remove it from the container.

A locking mechanism inside the pump provides for opening and closing of the mixing apertures in the outer tube of the pump.

The mixing effect can be continuously adjusted to the respective requirements.

Application fields:
Lutz mixing pumps MP are suitable for the transfer of neutral, aggressive and easily inflammable liquids from mobile drums, containers and stationary tanks of different size. Depending on the respective application, electrical or pneumatical driven motors – also in explosion proof version – are available.
