The mixing and pumping process takes place via a suction and mixing tube and a three-way valve. The pre-assembled system is ready for operation in just a few steps and is also suitable for explosive liquids. A compressed air-driven Double diaphragm pump in the ½ inch size made of stainless steel (1.4404), which is mounted on a base plate, serves as the delivery unit.
With the universal chemical hose used, almost all common liquids can be conveyed, such as paints and varnishes, emulsions, dispersions, suspensions, water/oil mixtures and liquids with increased viscosity.
The technical values with a delivery rate of 57 l/min, an operating pressure of max. 8.2 bar and a max. pumped medium temperature of 93 °C are convincing in operation. In addition, solids up to a diameter of 3.2 mm can be conveyed. The total weight of the system (incl. pump) is 21 kg. The suction and mixing pipe can be quickly and easily inserted into the bunghole via an optional wire rope suspension and a balancer. The base plate sits securely on the tank lid via vibration dampers.
