The high school graduate Paula Herma from the commercial high school in Wertheim was given the opportunity to complete a four-week internship in the USA at our subsidiary Lutz Pumps Inc. in Rochester, New York. The stay abroad is the prize of the "Förderkreis der Wirtschaftsjunioren Main-Tauber".
There she got an insight into the process and the organizational structures of the company. After getting to know all departments of our production site, she was also allowed to work on her own projects as well as visit a trade fair in Chicago for one week and take care of our company stand. In her spare time, she took part in a class at an American college, spent a weekend in New York and took a trip to Niagara Falls.
Paula Herma described the internship as one of the most influential experiences in her life. We are proud that, as an international holding company, we can contribute to giving young people the opportunity to spend time abroad.
