Container pumps
Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC) are probably the most commonly used transport and storage containers for chemicals in industry. In order to be able to empty these containers from above or below, suitable solutions are required. Therefore our pumps are available with the appropriate immersion depths, as well as drum pumps that have been designed only for containers.
Emptying containers (IBC)
(1) Removal from above - drum pump from 1200 mm or B50
(2) Removal from below - B200
Drum pumps for container emptying
Which immersion depth is needed for which container? Canisters, hobbocks, drums, IBC tanks and special containers of all kinds keep asking users this one question. All standard Lutz pump tubes were adapted to the corresponding container standards, resulting in immersion depths of 500 mm, 700 mm, 1000 mm and 1200 mm. Our drum pumps with an immersion depth of 1200 mm are used for containers.
Container Pump B50
Safe, fast, economical: Container pumps are convincing in liquid transfer due to low wear, large flow rates and rapid emptying. The B50 model is the functional answer to changed requirements in practice, to the trend towards ever larger containers. The pumps are suitable for continuous operation, have a low weight, operate at low speeds and offer maximum operational reliability.
Container Pump B200
This very compact pump is an interesting alternative when conventional vertical drum pumps cannot be used e.g. for containers which are stored in shelves. In these cases, access from above is no longer possible, but the bottom outlet of the IBC can be used. For this purpose, the new horizontal Lutz B200 is screwed directly to the bottom outlet.
Monitoring module for leakage detection
Dynamic seals are subject to wear and can lead to leakage. Dynamic seals should be replaced after specified operating times. As it is more difficult to monitor the operating time of mobile pumps, it is more likely that wearing parts will be used for longer than intended. The solution is the SafetyBox monitoring module, which can detect leaks in the mechanical seal.
Compressed air diaphragm pumps
The application possibilities of the double diaphragm pump in sizes ¼" to 2" are very versatile: From the automotive industry and the waste water sector, to the decanting of chemicals such as acids, alkalis, alcohols and solvents, to the feeding of large-scale plants. But the pumps also reliably solve the tasks assigned in the food sector and when pumping thin-bodied and viscous liquids. Likewise also in container emptying.
Safe positioning and repositioning of the pumps
The IBC traverse makes it easier to install or relocate the pump on IBC containers. It can be easily placed on all common IBC containers with lifting vehicles using transport straps and fixed to them with clamping hooks - this gives you more mobility for our pumps and allows them to be transported and used flexibly and safely at different locations.
Horizontal eccentric screw pumps
The B70H is a modification of our B70V and is designed for the horizontal use on a transport trolley. It can be used in situations where the B70V comes across space limits or limits of handling and thus completes our range of eccentric screw pumps with a mobile version.
Accessories for the container pumps
Smooth and safe operation of the drum pumps and container pumps requires a practical range of accessories. Whether for mobile use or permanently installed in a system - with the Lutz accessories, your pump becomes a perfect filling system.
